Your intimate elopement

At Post House, celebrations are designed to feel slow, personal and deeply connected to place. Most couples choose to stay across multiple nights — gathering quietly with their favourite people, sharing long meals, wandering the gardens and allowing the experience to unfold naturally.

Whether you’re planning a private elopement or an intimate wedding weekend, our hope is always that it feels meaningful, relaxed and entirely your own.

FAQs

Can we have guests at our elopement?

You may welcome up to ten guests for a small, intimate reception held onsite.
Overnight accommodation, however, is reserved exclusively for the marrying couple, a perfectly acceptable reason to end the evening early, slip away, and begin your marriage in peace.

Can we choose our own vendors?

Of course. While we’re happy to share a list of trusted vendors whose work we admire, this is your day, shaped entirely by your tastes, your rhythm, and your way of celebrating.

What about catering? Can we selfcater?

We can recommend private chefs, boutique caterers, and exceptional local producers to suit whatever your hearts (and appetites) desire. We gently suggest outsourcing catering, so you’re free to linger, toast, and focus on one another rather than the details.

Can our beloved pets join our ceremony?

Yes — happily. Pets are welcome to attend and stay, because a celebration of love feels incomplete without every member of the family present.
